JPM payments vs HSBC Corp Bank

依家year3，諗緊邊份summer會好啲(同時考慮埋return offer)。
自己覺得jpm brand name好啲，但一直都係想做corp bank 多啲。JPM Payments 就係類似transaction banking咁，會有trade finance/ cash management / escrow services teams。
我一直aim corp bank係因為覺得比起pb搵客容易啲，跑數可能冇咁辛苦，自己亦唔抗拒sales role。自己嘅理解corp 主要做loans 個邊嘅嘢。
暫時唔知兩份summer intern 人工如何，但估計應該唔差太多，將來想要份安穩啲嘅工。想問下考慮brand name，人工，exit opportunities，前景應該點揀?😭

I feel like HSBC global banking would be better than JPM payments since GB would be doing some modelling work and collaborate with IB
but if it's just 'corp bank' under commercial banking then JPM no doubt

Hi Alison, thanks for the question! It's indeed not an easy choice as it's firm's name vs your favourable job function...
But as it's choosing for an internship I would say I prefer to give up job functions this time as JPM is just too >>>>>> HSBC. I agree with what Vincent mentioned if it's HSBC GB that may really outweigh JPM Payments but it's just corp bank....
